Roy Keane Slams ‘Frightened’ Manchester United After Costly West Ham Draw
Roy Keane has blasted Manchester United, accusing the team of being “frightened” to finish games after another disappointing result at Old Trafford. The former United captain slammed Ruben Amorim’s side for failing to protect their lead in the 1-1 draw against West Ham United.
The stalemate against the Hammers marked yet another missed chance for Manchester United to reduce the gap to the Champions League spots and climb into fifth place in the Premier League table. Diogo Dalot put United ahead in the 58th minute, but just seven minutes from full-time, Soungoutou Magassa struck the equaliser to silence the home crowd.
United’s struggles at Old Trafford continue, having now gone two home matches without a win after last Monday’s defeat to Everton. That loss piled even more pressure on Amorim, especially after his side failed to capitalise on Idrissa Gueye’s first-half red card.
